Who We AreOur decadent, caramel-stuffed, original brownie recipe was first crafted in the bakery of an Ohio specialty grocer, Dorothy Lane Market, which was founded as a small fruit stand in 1948. In the early 1980s, Dorothy Lane Market wanted to create a specialty dessert that would make their stores a destination location, so the Original Killer Brownie® was born. This layered, gourmet brownie grew a local cult following so big that by the year 2000, Killer Brownie® became its own company to share the beloved dessert nationwide. Today, Killer Brownie® is available coast to coast. You can find our products in over 15,000 locations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. And we still use our original recipe to this day!
What We DoKiller Brownies® are available in decadent best-selling flavors, like Cookie Dough, Kitchen Sink, and Triple Chocolate. We also craft indulgent seasonal favorites, like Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, Caramel Macchiato, Lemon Blueberry, and many more. We love to be creative, so we’ve always got something new up our sleeves.
We make millions of decadent, gourmet brownies a month! Our focus is on clean, premium ingredients, such as unbleached and unbromated flour, no added hormones, and sustainably sourced cocoa. Additionally, our brownies are made in a Kosher and Food Safe Certified facility, meaning every brownie goes through rigorous safety and testing procedures to ensure it is safe to serve to you and your family — allowing us to bring Killer Brownies® to a wider audience of dessert lovers.
