It’s about choosing enjoyment without overthinking it. The best moments don’t need a special occasion. They just need you to lean in.

It starts with quality - and then we build on it. Every Killer Brownie is made with thoughtfully chosen ingredients and baked with care. We use unbleached, unbromated flour, no added hormones, and responsibly sourced cocoa, because indulgence only works when the product delivers.

Our brownies are made in a Kosher and Food Safe Certified facility, so every bite meets high standards - without relying on shortcuts or unnecessary additives. Just real ingredients, treated with intention. Then come the layers. 

Each brownie is built, not mixed. Dense, fudgy brownie layers are stacked with rich fillings to create something you can see, feel, and taste in every bite. That’s what gives them their signature texture - gooey, substantial, and deeply satisfying from edge to center. What sets them apart isn’t just how indulgent they are. It’s how intentionally they’re made. We don’t do skimpy layers. We don’t hold back. And we don’t believe dessert should either.

It started in the early 1980s at Dorothy Lane Market, a beloved specialty grocer in Dayton, Ohio.

What began as a small-batch bakery idea quickly became something more. Customers shared it, talked about it, and came back for it - because the brownie stood out. It was richer, denser, and more indulgent than anything else on the table.

From those early days at DLM, Killer Brownie grew organically - not by chasing trends, but by doubling down on what made it special: unapologetic indulgence, intentional layers, and brownies meant to be shared. 

Over the years, the brand evolved - new packaging, new recipes, new places - but the core never changed. The same commitment to quality, richness, and joy that defined those first brownies still defines everything we make today.

This history isn’t something we’ve outgrown. It’s the foundation we’re built on - and the reason Killer Brownie still feels relevant, confident, and unmistakably itself.
