Triple Chocolate Killer Brownie® Waffle Ice Cream Sandwich

Breakfast for dessert, anyone? This inspired take on the classic ice cream sandwich features buttery Belgian waffles and sweet, vanilla ice cream with gourmet Killer Brownie® chunks mixed in.

INGREDIENTS

3 bars of Triple Chocolate Killer Brownie®
24 oz of vanilla ice cream
2 oz of caramel sauce
3 square Belgian waffles (homemade or frozen

PROVISIONS

Large, chilled mixing bowl


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rough chop the Triple Chocolate Killer Brownie® bars into small chunks

  2. In a large chilled bowl, mix together brownie chunks and ice cream

  3. Drizzle a thick zigzag pattern on top of the ice cream with caramel sauce and fold in with a spatula, careful not to overmix

  4. Working to make one sandwich at a time, spoon a thick layer of the ice cream mixture between two waffles — ensure that the ice cream layer goes all the way to the edges of the waffles

  5. Tightly wrap your waffle ice cream sandwich with wax paper, place in freezer immediately

  6. Repeat with remaining ingredients

  7. Freeze for 4-6 hours, or until ice cream is completely frozen again

  8. Just before serving, take out of freezer and cut waffles in half to make 6 total sandwiches

  9. Drizzle with maple syrup if you’re feelin’ fancy!
